Community Education Notice
At Psychiatric Services, S.C. we balance the goals of contributing to the community and serving our patient/clients directly. One way we can contribute to the community is by providing high quality training to future mental health providers. Psychiatric Services prioritizes individual care, attention, confidentiality, and service. To this end we ask that, if approached to consider a trainee joining in treatment of individuals, respondents know they are under no obligation to accept and that it is important to give an honest response. The requesting clinician’s treatment will not be influenced either way. We recognize that some patients/clients appreciate the opportunity to be involved in training/education and others may not. In no case will a trainee be asked to perform in the absence of supervision by a licensed senior clinician.
